READY TO ROLL · CASE STUDY

BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP.

Ready To Roll is the independent drum & bass platform I founded and produce. Across its own events, it has become the clearest place to see how I connect planning, people and show-day decisions.

Ready To Roll
FROM IDEA TO ROOM01

AN EVENT IS THE SUM OF A LOT OF SMALL DECISIONS.

Ready To Roll started as a music platform, but producing its events quickly meant taking responsibility for far more than a line-up. Every edition had to become a workable production: budget, venue, artists, suppliers, crew, hospitality, ticketing, timings and the practical flow on the day.

That is the part I own. I translate the idea into a plan, keep the right people aligned and stay close enough to the operation to make decisions when reality changes.

Concept & format

Turn the idea into a clear event format and production brief.

Artists & agents

Bookings, advancing and communication through show day.

Production planning

Budgets, timelines, ticketing, practical planning and priorities.

Crew & team

Roles, briefings, hospitality and operational follow-up.

Venue & suppliers

Venue coordination, technical partners, access and logistics.

Show-day operations

Keep the overview, solve issues and protect the flow of the event.

WHERE PLANNING MEETS REALITY02

THE PLAN ONLY MATTERS IF IT HOLDS UP LIVE.

The useful part of this case is not simply that I founded the concept. It is that I have had to carry it through repeated live situations, with real audiences, artist requirements, suppliers, crew and time pressure.

Show day is where the plan gets tested. Arrival times move, questions stack up, guest flow changes and different partners need answers at the same time. My role is to keep priorities clear, communicate quickly and make sure the production continues moving without losing the experience for artists, crew or audience.

ONE FLAGSHIP EXAMPLE

READY TO ROLL × THE SAUCE · CHINASTRAAT, GHENT · JUNE 2025

Artist and agent communication, venue and supplier coordination, crew and hospitality, production planning and budgeting, ticketing and guest flow, plus show-day troubleshooting all came together in one live production.

WHAT THIS PROVES.

Ready To Roll is my own platform, but that is exactly why it is useful proof: when responsibility sits with me, I know how to connect the plan, the people and the live operation from first decisions to final delivery.
